Danish Study Guidance
DTU’s Study Guidance Office could be your first port of call if you have questions. The study advisors are current students at DTU and they can help you with everything related to the study programmes - including course planning, credit transfer applications, exemption applications, and finding your way around DTU’s rules and regulations.
How can you get in contact with the Study Guidance during COVID-19
The Study Guidance opening hours and guidance offers are altered due to the restrictions of COVID-19.
You can always contact us by mail or telephone during our opening hours.
You can book an appointment for 20 minutes for an individual guidance with the Study Guidance, or you can use our offer at Lyngby Campus for quick guidance without prior booking or online quick guidance via Zoom. See opening hours and offers below.

Offers guidance to potential DTU students on the application process for people with a bachelors degree from outside of Denmark.

SU Office
The SU Office offers guidance to all DTU students on SU rules, and processes applications for SU, SU loans, youth cards and study abroad scholarships.
You can find general information about SU (including special support for parents, the disabled, etc.), youth cards, and study abroad scholarships at su.dk and ungdomskort.dk.
Once you are enrolled at DTU, you can find information about SU, youth cards and study abroad scholarships which is particularly relevant to your studies at DTU's intranet under "State Educational Grant and Loan Scheme (SU)". If you have questions about SU you can contact the SU Office at SU@adm.dtu.dk.
NB: The SU Office is closed for physical appearance December 16. In stead we are open in Lyngby Friday 18 December, 12 pm - 14 pm.

The SU Office does not accept paper applications. If you need to hand in a receipt or an application, you need to scan it and send it from your student mail to us using our chatbot SU-bot.
The SU office is closed on bank holidays, during fall breaks as well as during Christmas, Easter and 5 June. It is also closed the day after Ascension Day.
Please note that the DTU Admission Course has its own SU guidance about SU for youth education programmes.

Student Counselling Service
This is where you can seek social, psychological and psychiatric counselling when you experience issues that interfere with your ability to reach your potential as a student—such as academic issues, social issues, or psychological issues. The service is confidential, free of charge, and staffed by psychologists, social workers with psychotherapeutic training, and psychiatric specialist physicians.
